100 Towns and Counting
One of our favourite parts of running Mantis is seeing where each order comes from.
Although sometimes we find ourselves checking the address and wondering, where exactly is that?
Recently, we've had our very first orders from places like Ruatoria, East Takaka and Hokitika. Those orders helped us reach a milestone we're incredibly proud of:
Mantis has now been shipped to golfers in over 100 different towns and cities across Aotearoa New Zealand.
From small rural communities to some of New Zealand's biggest centres, it's pretty amazing to think that Mantis rangefinders are now being used by golfers all over the country. And some of the towns have certainly tested our geography skills!
We've sent Mantis rangefinders to places including Patearoa, East Takaka, Waipiro and Owaka — all towns with populations of fewer than 350 people. That's one of the things we love about golf in New Zealand. You don't have to be in a big city to be part of the golfing community.
And then there was Saudi Arabia...
One place we definitely weren't expecting to ship a Mantis was Saudi Arabia.
A Kiwi golfer living there got in touch to ask if we'd send one of our classic black Mantis rangefinders halfway across the world. Of course we had to make it happen.
And because we couldn't resist, we added a Whittaker's Peanut Slab into the box for a little taste of home. It's a long way from New Zealand, but it was pretty cool knowing a Mantis was heading off to another part of the world.

Mantis started as a father-and-son project, and seeing the rangefinder make its way into golf bags all around New Zealand is something we're genuinely proud of. Thank you for being part of the journey.
We're still learning every day, but we're committed to building a golf brand that Kiwi golfers can trust. And we're looking forward to seeing which town gets added to the Mantis map next.
